Healthy, yummy AND they taste decadent, minus the all thefake stuff. Here are some of my favourite healthy treats!
1. Oreos
1/2 cup raw cacao powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
6 tbsp almond flour or flour of choice (next best would be brown rice)
3tbsp coconut butter
First, combine the cacao powder, maple syrup and almond flour, then flatten the picture into an even amount of circles and cook at 200 degrees celsius for 10mins.
Allow to cool before scooping on some coconut butter onto one cookie and putting another on top (you can mix in some maple syrup to the coconut butter).
2. Cookies
1 ¼ cup almond flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup coconut oil
½ tbsp molasses/rice malt syrup/honey
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 egg or 1 flax egg (3 tbs water to 1 tbs flax)
½ chocolate chips
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and cook at 200 degrees celcius for 10-12mins or until golden brown.
3. Brownies
2 tbs coconut oil
1/2 cup dairy free chocolate chips
1 large egg
1/3 cup coconut sugar
2 heaping tablespoons raw cacao
1 tbs tapioca flour
pinch himalayan salt
Bake at 200C for 10-12 minutes until toothpick has wet crumbs!! then let cool for 10 minutes.
4. Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough
- 1 can cooked white beans, roughly 16oz
- 1/3 cup flour of choice (I used buckwheat, you can use any kind you prefer)
- 1/3 cup pitted dates (soaked + drained)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon, more to taste
- pinch of salt
5. Nice- Cream and Choc Sauce
Nice Cream
2-4 frozen bananas
1 cup almond milk
1tsp vanilla extract
BLEND
Chocolate Sauce
1tsp Maple Syrup
2tsp Raw cacao powder
1tsp water
Mix and pour on top of vanilla nice-cream.
6. Pancakes + Nut Butter Topping
Pancake
1 cup of oat flour (i just blend oats until they are a fine flour-like dust)
1 cup almond milk
1 egg
Mix the 3 ingredients together in a bowl, and, if you want, add some cinnamon or chcolate chips - choc chips are probably not the healthiest, but they're tasty! Grease a pan with coconut oil and dp the same thing you'd do with any pancake mix - pour it in circles, wait till one side is cooked and flip.
Nut Butter Topping
1tbsp natural nut butter (if you dont know if it's natural or not just check the ingrdients - if it is just the nut, then it is natural)
1tsp coconut oil
Melt the two together in a microwave and pour on top of your pancakes. YUUUUMMMMM!
And that's a wrap! see you guys next week, don't forget to like, subscribe and share this post xx let me know if you make anything.
